ResponsibilitiesSmoothly executes daily IBS processes according to the production plan.
Operates IBS equipment — launches and controls IBS processes, performs re-optimizations when needed, records production information related to process execution, and identifies problems.
Monitors and adjusts IBS equipment parameters, notices and identifies deviations in equipment performance on time.
Responsible for monitoring production communication channels — timely reading and transferring information between departments.
Prepares production documentation, instructions, and plans for production orders (PL-0, PL-1). Responsible for order quality and yield.
Performs technological calculations and prepares technical proposals at the product inquiry stage (OPPN) — provides technical input to the Sales team.
Participates in technological and organizational improvement activities (TLIP, internal NCRs, Alldevice unplanned works, CPS experiments).
Constantly follows innovations in coating/evaporation technologies and equipment.
Core mission
Ensure stable, high-quality optical coating production by operating and continuously improving IBS deposition processes — with strong ownership of documentation, yield, and technical input that supports new product requests.
Bachelor’s degree (or currently studying) in Physics / Technology / Engineering or related field.
Thin film design software — advantage (OptiLayer / OTF Studio / TFCalc).
Languages: Lithuanian, English (B2).
Basic knowledge of coating materials used in production.
Basic understanding of component mechanical and optical specifications.
Basic understanding of metrology equipment and standards used in optical coating production - spectrophotometer, Fizeau interferometer, surface quality standards.
Open to joining as an intern: this role can be done as a paid internship (practical placement) with hands-on training and mentoring.
