We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team of Lightbenders. You’ll be supporting customers, building relationships, and showing how our high-power laser optics can solve some of the industry’s toughest technical challenges.

What you’ll be doing

Working closely with customers

Get to know our optics and coatings inside out. Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions. Be their trusted go-to expert.

Driving new business

Identify and reach out to key players in high-power laser applications. Create compelling value propositions and follow up on leads from trade fairs and referrals.

Collaborating with R&D

Help design custom solutions by teaming up with our engineers. Support customer technical pitches to showcase what makes OPTOMAN stand out.

Getting results

Hit your sales targets, manage multiple projects, and keep things moving. Prepare quotes and proposals, track your pipeline, and share feedback with the team.

What we’re looking for

• A degree in Physics, Optics/Photonics, or a similar field.
• A solid grasp of lasers and optics. Experience with thin-film coatings or nonlinear optics? Even better.
• 1–3 years in technical B2B sales. If you’ve worked with R&D or industrial clients, that’s a plus.
• Fluent English. Other European languages (like German or French) are a bonus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills. You’re analytical, organised, and not afraid to take the initiative.
• Willingness to travel (about 10–20% of the time).
• A curious mind and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
